Mattress Mart Delivery Policies

General Delivery Information

When an online order is received, it is generally processed within one business day.  When this has occurred, the buyer will be contacted via email or telephone to confirm the order and provide the information of when and how the product(s) purchased will be shipped.  Typically an item that is in stock is shipped within three to five business days.  The actual delivery process varies based on location.

Orders totaling $1 to $498 are assessed an $80 shipping fee.  All orders totaling $499 or above are eligible for free shipping in the state of Ohio.

Ohio Deliveries

If an item is being delivered within the state of Ohio, it is eligible for in-home delivery and setup.  When the buyer is contacted after making his or her purchase, we will work with the buyer to set up a delivery day that is the most convenient for the buyer.  Please note that exact delivery times can not be given; however, a call is made to the buyer one (1) hour prior to delivery at the phone number(s) provided at the time of purchase.  Typically our delivery days are Wednesday through Saturday.

Ohio residents that choose in-home delivery are eligible for mattress removal.  At your request, we will remove one (1) old mattress from your home per mattress purchased.  Air mattresses and water bed bladders are not eligible for mattress removal.  The delivery personnel will also set up your new mattress upon request.

If preferred, an order can also be set up for drop shipping as opposed to an in-home delivery.  Items can also be scheduled for pickup at one of our retail store locations.

Continental United States Deliveries

At this time, Mattress Mart does not offer delivery service outside of Ohio.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Comfort Exchange

In the case of a Comfort Exchange, the person who purchased the mattress is responsible for all shipping charges for the product being returned to Mattress Mart and the shipping charges related to Mattress Mart shipping the product that the original was exchanged for.  The new product will not be shipped until the old one has been received.

If an item is out of stock

If an item is out of stock at the time the order is placed, the customer will be notified of this within one to two business days.  The customer will be provided with an estimate of when the product will be available, and a shipping date will be set up based on this estimate.  Typically most products will be available within a week, but some may take up to three to four weeks to arrive.

Unfortunately, sometimes ordered items do not come in on time from the manufacturer.  If this occurs, the customer will be contacted with a new estimate of when the product will be available and a new shipping date will be set up based on this new estimate.
